LIPOTOMY, a nonsurgical option for removing fat

Lipotomy is a lipodissolution technique that aims to dissolve undesirable clusters of fat without the use of active drugs or surgery. It consists of a series of micro-infusions using a hypotonic mixture (LipoAQP) to create a physiologic salt solution. This natural substance has the property of dissolving fat by attracting water from the intercellular area into the fat cell causing it to swell and eventually burst.
A special manual and mechanical massage treatment follows to help break the bloated fat cells. This massage process needs to be repeated a few more days after the treatment to continue to assist in destroying the weakened cells. The fat is then eliminated via the natural blood circulation and excreted from the body.
The session lasts 2 to 4 hours with minimal to no downtime and results are usually seen starting the 2nd to 4th week as the solution begins to work. It is usually a one-time treatment but may be repeated after 6 months to a year. For optimum results it is used in conjunction with our other body contouring techniques such as the Ultrasound Cavitation Procedure and the RF Contouring Procedure.
