Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatments are now becoming more popular and have shown a lot of benefits in the fields of Orthopedic Surgery, Rehabiltation Medicine and Dermatology.
It involves the extraction of the patient's blood where it is then processed to produce Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). The PRP is then activated to release various growth factors and injected back into the patient, in our case the skin, where it stimulates cellular regeneration, repair and restoration.
In Dermatology, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) has shown remarkable results for the following:

They have been able to check the quality and quantity of the Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) produced (should be around 4 to 5 x the normal count) by checking the number of platelets in the syringe to be injected compared to the patient's baseline levels.
